Q. You’ve been with us for over 13 years what do you enjoy most about your role?
A. “I love the variety of the role, there is always something different going on. From learning about the technical aspects of the lenses etc to meeting lots of nice patients that visit us. I also enjoy the social front facing aspect of meeting and chatting with our patients.”
Q. When you’re not at work what’s your passion?
A. I love travel and adventures. I run, hike and play football. My wife and our 3 young kids like going exploring to castles and country parks. My wee boy, Jamie, has even climbed his first Munro (Scottish mountain!) with me aged 7 (I’ve bagged over 50!).
Q. Tell us more about your recent achievements and adventures?
A. During lockdown I got into running longer distances. I did a challenge running 234km in 8 days whilst raising money for a local charity and getting a mention in the local newspaper! I also completed the Wolfpack 100, running 100km continuously in over 13 hours.
Q. What’s your next goal or target?
A. I’d like to get back to running more and continue to bag a few more peaks.
